‘Community’ Returning for Sixth Season on Yahoo!

The Hollywood Reporter has learned that the NBC original comedy Community will return for a sixth season, but not on NBC.

Studio Sony Pictures Television has ordered 13 episodes of Community to air on Yahoo Screen in the fall. Original showrunner Dan Harmon will return, as well as stars  Joel McHale,Gillian Jacobs, Yvette  Nicole Brown, Danny Pudi, Alison Brie, Ken Jeong and Jim Rash.

After the comedy was cancelled by NBC in May, the show’s cult following took to the internet to air their displeasure. Clearly, the strong following helped revive the show.
