According to Deadline, Colin From Accounts will be returning for a third season. The Australian comedy, which first charmed audiences with its quirky premise and awkward romantic moments, has officially been renewed by Paramount+ in the U.S. and by Binge in Australia.

Deadline reports that series creators Patrick Brammall (No Activity, Evil) and Harriet Dyer (The Invisible Man, American Auto) are set to return both in front of and behind the camera as writers, producers and co-stars. Also confirmed for the upcoming season is Zak, the real-life border terrier who plays the show’s canine namesake Colin.

Originally debuting in 2022, the series centers around Gordon and Ashley—two strangers whose lives get unexpectedly entangled after a spontaneous and hilarious accident involving a nipple flash and a dog. The rom-com explores the messy side of modern relationships with a mix of heart and humor.

Season two saw the couple officially shacked up and dealing with the fallout of losing Colin to new owners, which was just one of many complications they’d face as they adjusted to living together. While plot details for the third season haven’t been shared yet, fans can expect more emotional chaos and offbeat comedy as the story continues.

As Deadline states, the ensemble cast from season two included Genevieve Hegney (Doctor DoctorThe Little Death), Helen Thomson (Elvis, Stupid Stupid Man), Emma Harvie (RFDS, In Limbo), Annie Maynard (Playing For KeepsUpper Middle Bogan) and Darren Gilshenan (No ActivityThou Shalt Not Steal), among others. Guest stars such as Virginia Gay (Winners & LosersJudy & Punch), Celeste Barber (WellmaniaThe Letdown) and John Howard (Mad Max: Fury RoadSeaChange) also made appearances.

Colin From Accounts is produced by Easy Tiger Productions and CBS Studios while commissioned by the Foxtel Group. The series is distributed internationally by Paramount Global Content Distribution, and currently streams on Paramount+ in the U.S., BBC iPlayer in the UK, Citytv+ in Canada, Binge in Australia and a wide range of platforms across other parts of the world.

There is no word yet on when season three will premiere, but for fans of messy love stories and cute dogs, more Colin From Accounts is officially on the way. The two seasons of the romantic series are available to stream on Paramount+.
