According to Comicbook, one of the creators of Cartoon Network’s animated series, Craig of the Creek, has stated that the series only has few more episodes before it ends. Ben Levin (Steven Universe), co-creator of the series, shared the news of the ending on Instagram, signaling to fans how many episodes are left for Craig.
On his Instagram post, Levin said, “…there are only FOUR episodes left of Craig of the Creek. They’ll be airing 9/7-9/28. I’ll be posting more up until then, but all I say now is that we’ve got some really special final episodes to say farewell to the show.”
Craig of the Creek aired in March 2018 and has accumulated five seasons, a spinoff series titled Jessica’s Big Little World, and even a full-length film. The initial series follows Craig, a young boy, through his adventures near a creek in the suburban wilderness. Through navigating the wilderness, Craig finds treasure, forges new friendships and is constantly pursued by pirates.
As per Comicbook, the film for the animated series titled Craig Before the Creek was teased as follows: “Before he was Craig of the Creek, he was just Craig – a new kid in a new town. All Craig wants is to go back to his old friends at his old home. But when he learns that the nearby creek is hiding a lost treasure that could make his wish come true, Craig sets off on a journey to find it – navigating the perilous suburban wilderness, forging new friendships, all while being pursued by a fearsome band of pirates who are bent on destroying the Creek itself.”
The series cast includes Philip Solomon (Invincible: Atom Eve), Micheal Croner (The Happytime Murders), Noel Well (Star Trek: Lower Decks), Shayle Simons (Kiff), Phil LaMarr (Futurama), Matt Burnett (Level Up), Lucia Cunnigham (Apple & Onion) and many others.
