

Confirmation on what lies ahead for the fifth and final season of Netflix’s popular supernatural drama series, Stranger Things has dropped. According to Screenrant, the complete run time for all episodes within the first part of the season was revealed by one of the series co-creators, Ross Duffer (Hidden, Wayward Pines), who had posted on his Instagram story.
The plot takes an intriguing turn with a time skip that sees the Upside Down merging with Hawkins. As the boundaries between their world and the dark dimension blur, the main characters and the citizens of Hawkins face terrifying creatures invading their reality. According to Screenrant, the stakes have skyrocketed, leaving them in a fight for survival like never before.

Reported by Screenrant, the video goes on to showcase that the first episode is named “Chapter One: The Crawl”, which will run for one hour and eight minutes. We then continue with episode two, named ‘The Vanishing Of…”, which is set for 54 minutes followed by Chapter Three, “The Turnbow Trap,” at 1 hour and 6 minutes. The mid-season climax, Chapter Four, “Sorcerer,” will be the longest of the batch at 1 hour and 23 minutes.
Upon hearing this, fans across the world are disappointed about the revealed runtime, but there is still more episodes in production. Stated by Screenrant, the remaining two volumes of the series are schedule to release on Christmas Day and New Year’s ,with the first volume of the final season is schedule to premiere on November 26 at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST.
Time will only tell if Netflix’s gamble will reach the same level as the prior season finale while also delivering a climatic story. While viewers await further news surrounding the final season, all previous seasons of Stranger Things are available to stream on Netflix.
