‘Clarkson’s Farm’: Ahead Of Season Four Premiere, Amazon Renews Hit Docuseries For Fifth Season

Deadline reports that Prime Video has renewed the hit British documentary series Clarkson’s Farm for a fifth season, ahead of the season four premiere. Jeremy Clarkson (Top Gear, Speed) announced the news on social media on November 5. “Season 5 is coming,” he said in the Instagram post, as drones lit up Diddly Squat Farm behind him, emblazoning the sky with the number 5.

Each of the first three seasons of Clarkson’s Farm has chronicled a year on Diddly Squat, Clarkson’s 1,000-acre farm nestled in the ancient stone villages of the Cotswolds. Described by Clarkson as “genuine reality television,” the series has been praised for raising public awareness of the British farming industry.

The season three premiere of Clarkson‘s farming show was streamed by 5.1 million viewers over seven days in the UK. This puts the episode nearly a million viewers ahead of the season two debut, which was watched by 4.3 million and was Amazon’s previous ratings record holder.

The series is a co-production of Amazon Studios, Expectation Entertainment and Con Dao Productions. Peter Fincham (Limitless, The Grand Tour), Conor Tighe (America in Color, Animal Fight Night), Andy Wilman (The Victoria Cross: For Valour, Extreme Machines) and Peter Richardson (Gassed Up, Gadget Man) serve as producers on the project.
