Actress Chloe Bennet (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) has revealed that she has tested positive for COVID-19 and is experiencing severe symptoms from the virus, according to ComicBook. Bennet revealed her diagnosis and her current experience with COVID-19 on a few of her Instagram stories. Via ComicBook, Bennet stated “On Christmas morning I woke up with a high fever, and unable to breathe. I got tested, and I’m positive for COVID-19…it’s been a rough week, to say the least. Multiple members of my family are also infected, we’ve all been battling it out together.” Bennet further states that she and family members practiced social distancing and the utilization of masks, yet still came into contact with the virus.
Bennet starred on ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Agent Skye or Daisy Johnson or Quake. The series premiered in 2013 and concluded its seven-season run in August 2020. Bennet appeared in all 136 episodes of the Marvel series. Created by Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), the ABC series centered on the S.H.I.E.L.D. agency as they handled different and varying cases of supernatural entities and crime. Bennet is also known for her voice role in the 2019 film Abominable.
