After a famous feud with CBS a few years ago, Charlie Sheen spiraled out of control. He left the hit show Two and a Half Men and went to FX for a new show, Anger Management. After that, Sheen was out of the headlines for a while. Until now.
Selma Blair plays Sheen’s therapist on Anger Management. TMZ reports that Blair complained about how Sheen was always late and has a bad work ethic. When word reached Sheen, he fired her. He even claimed that if she shows up on set, he will refuse to work.
Huffington Post reports that Anger Management, which is currently on its second season, was signed for four years of episodes. It is unknown how many episodes will have Blair, but the show will most likely go on without her.
Ironically, before the premiere of Anger Management, Access Hollywood asked Blair if she had any apprehension over working with Sheen. She replied, “None. I’ve always loved everything he’s done and I’ve always looked at how interested people were in him and I thought I was really lucky to be part of it… We all love him very much and he’s really a generous, wonderful soul and whatever his personality is, we’re grateful to be with him.”
Blair also told Assignment X in September 2012, “He has a great track record with work and when I met him, I thought he was a great guy and so much fun and we instantly connected… He’s someone I consider my closest confidante. He helps me so much in my life, he’s there for me, and he’s a wonderful person. I don’t know how he does it. He manages to be an amazing friend, amazing at work, and he has a lot of charisma, so we just really hit it off.”
