CBS has renewed their daytime TV lineup including soap operas, game shows and talk shows for 2014/2015 TV season.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the shows include Let’s Make a Deal, The Price Is Right, The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful and The Talk.
“The return of all five of our CBS Daytime shows is a credit to the collaborative spirit of the casts, crews and staff who work tirelessly to make their creative vision come to life,” Angelica McDaniel, Senior VP of CBS Daytime said. “A special thank you goes out to our loyal fans for watching and for making us #1 in daytime.”
Let’s Make a Deal returns for its sixth season and averages 3 million viewers and double digits in key demographics. The Price Is Right returns and is still CBS’ most-watched daytime program.
The networks soap operas have risen in viewers with The Young and the Restless rising 9 percent and The Bold and the Beautiful rising 14 percent.
Daytime show The Talk rose a total of 19 percent from the previous year and 10 percent with female viewers age 25-54.
Daytime TV at CBS is up in viewers and female demographics.
