Fargo’s Colin Hanks will be the co-lead in Justin Adler’s new pilot, Life in Pieces.
Fargo alum, Colin Hanks, has landed the co-starring role in CBS’ new comedy pilot called Life in Pieces.
The Hollywood Reporter has learned that the show revolves around one family. The comedy’s storyline is told by different members of that family who all have separate stories.
Hanks will portray Greg Short, the youngest of three siblings. His character finds himself quite overwhelmed and unready for the birth of his first child.
Justin Adler (Better of Ted) will not only write the script for the comedy, but he will also be one of the show’s executive producers. Producing alongside him is Kapital Entertainment’s Aaron Kaplan (The Mysteries of Laura).
Colin Hanks has been offered multiple pilot roles this season. Life in Pieces will mark his first role following his Emmy nomination for supporting actor in FX anthology Fargo. His role as Gus Grimly (Fargo) also earned him a nomination for a Golden Globe. Colin Hanks is represented by UTA, MGMT, and Bloom Hergott. His other small-screen credits include Dexter, The Good Guys and episodes of CBS’ Bad Teacher and Mom.
