Today, the Daytime Emmy nominations were announced. According to TVline, there are three shows with the most nominations for the year. CBS’ The Young and the Restless has the most of any soap opera, leading with 19 nominations, followed by General Hospital‘s 16 and Days of Our Lives with 13. The Young and the Restless’ nominations include outstanding drama, lead actress and actor, supporting actor and actress, guest performances, and writer, to name a few.   

 TVline reports that for the first time, Drew Barrymore (Miracle on 74th Street, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World) has received an Emmy nomination in the Daytime Talk Series category along with The Jennifer Hudson Show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Live With Kelly and Mark, and finally The View. Read the full list of main nominations below.
