The Buffy: The Vampire Slayer series finale recently had its 10-year anniversary. It has been a decade since the show went off the air, but some of the cast still assembled in Paris for Comic Con.
Cast members Nicholas Brendon, Charisma Carpenter, and Kristine Sutherland were all present at the convention. Brendon played snarky Xander in all 7 seasons of Buffy. Carpenter played Cordelia Chase in the first 3 seasons of the show, then the character became a regular on the Buffy spin-off, Angel, for 4 seasons. Buffy’s mother, Joyce Summers, was played by Kristine Sutherland. Joyce was heavily featured in the first three season in which Buffy finished her high school career, she was in fewer episodes in the fourth and fifth season until her character was killed off.
The Buffy stars provided a Q&A session for the fans. And throughout the event they tweeted several pictures, including the below of Brendon and Carpenter.
Even though the show has been over for a decade, it still lives on in its fans. “I’m incredibly proud of that show — proud of everybody on it, of what we did … You can’t be prouder of that show. It still holds up in reruns and I’m blessed every day … I’ve been pretty lucky,” series star Sarah Michelle Gellar told the Huffington Post.
