Bryan Fuller, a producer and show runner, was recently accused of sexual harassment, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Fuller is known for shows such as Hannibal, American Gods, and Queer for Fear. Fuller was accused in a lawsuit that also targeted AMC, claiming they allegedly dismissed Fuller’s behavior.
The lawsuit was brought to fruition by the series producer of Queer for Fear, Samuel Wineman in Los Angelos Superior Court, says The Hollywood Reporter. Wineman also claims he was allegedly terminated by Fuller and then had his credits to the show reduced. The lawsuit also goes into the alleged sexual assault that Wineman says he allegedly suffered at the hands of Fuller.
According to Wineman, Fuller allegedly made inappropriate remarks regarding masturabation along with allegedly assaulting Wineman while massaging him.
Wineman claims that the harassment didn’t end with the alleged sexual assault, but that Fuller also allegedly harassed and allegedly bullied Wineman while they were working together.
Wineman claims that he cried due to Fuller’s alleged insults and that Fuller allegedly sabotaged shots, allegedly ignored him for weeks, and allegedly made discriminatory comments toward minorities.
The Hollywood Reporter claims that Fuller has made no comment on the issue but that the lawsuit is also fighting against AMC Networks because they allegedly ignored the abuse when it was reported to them.
While Fuller has not made any statements, The Hollywood Reporter reports that AMC Networks has been made aware of the report and they are in the process of reviewing it.
So far, all claims made are alleged and no verdict has been made regarding the lawsuit.
