Bryan Cranston Is Returning Back To TV In January

Breaking Bad was initially a commercial success for AMC network and Bryan Cranston was hailed for his acting performance. Not only for Cranston but his co-stars as well. In all, he won awards and praise from TV critics and fans alike. Now these critics and Breaking Bad fans will be happy to know that Amazon is debuting its new Bryan Cranston drama, titled Sneaky Pete next month. It is a crime drama that is set to premieres its second episode, January 13, 2017. Co-staring Giovani Ribisi, it is mostly about a con artist who tries to pass for his former cellmate Pete when he is released from jail. Afterwards he joins Pete’s family business in the bail bond business and he begins to track criminals.

Cranston’s character is named Vince, who wants nothing more than the money that is owed to him. The other co- stars are Marin Ireland as Julia, Margo Martindale as Audrey, Shane Merac as Taylor, Libe Barer as Carly and Peter Gerety as Otto. The executive producers team includes Bryan Cranston. The series was in development back in November 2014, CBS who originally gave the okay to air it backed out after a formal pilot for the show was shot in New York in March. However, it was later picked up by the online streaming service, Amazon. After careful negotiations, they got the series done.

The pilot being released on August 7, 2015 and ordered to service on September 2, 2015. It is set to return on TV and premiere on January 13, 2017. In fact, the premiere is set to garner high ratings for Amazon. A little background on star Bryan Cranston. He portrayed Walter White on the AMC crime drama. Breaking Bad which was also a success for the AMC network, pushed the limits when it came to drug dealing. The original release was January 20, 2008- September 29, 2013. The show originally aired on the AMC network for five seasons. The upcoming show Sneaky Pete will not only show off Cranston’s acting chops and make his character deserving of his performance power. Sneaky Pete is deserving of Cranston and with the help from his star studded co-stars, there is no doubt that Sneaky Pete will on the top of the list of a cult favorite just as Breaking Bad was. Cranston will be reassured that Sneaky Pete will mark his return to television. It will also make a sudden return to television for Giovanni Ribisi.
