‘Breaking Bad’ Tops TV Lists For Google Trends 2013

Google released the trending charts for 2013 including most searched TV show, trending TV show, trending TV series finales and most searched reality TV stars.

Breaking Bad topped three of the listed and came in first for most searched TV show for 2013. Other TV shows to make the list for most searched TV show this year include Duck Dynasty, The Big Bang Theory, Good Morning America, South Park, True Blood, Big Brother 15, New Girl, Castle and Scandal.

While some of the hit shows did not make the most searched list they ranked highly when it came trending on other social media sites and news articles. Once again, Breaking Bad topped the list for 2013’s trending TV show. HBO’s Game of Thrones came in as second most trending while Netflix’s new series Orange Is The New Black came in third. Others to make the trending list include Scandal, House of Cards, Downton Abbey, Suits, NCIS, Dexter, and New Girl.

Third time is a charm with Breaking Bad topping yet another list with 2013s trending TV series. This year had its share of series finales with Buckwild, who came in second, and the long running All My Children coming in ninth. Others to end their run and make the list include Ready For Love, Zero Hour, Deception, Dexter, Red Widow, Smash, and Golden Boy.

Reality TV was also included in the mix with the most searched reality TV star, Farrah Abraham of Teen Mom. Reality TV has become extremely popular the past couple of years with shows like Duck Dynasty and Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. Those who join Abraham on the list for most searched reality TV star include Shain Gandee, Katherine Webb, Gia Allemand, Lamar Odom, Kim Kardashian, Honey Boo Boo, Tamar Braxton, Jessie James and Sean Lowe.
