Aaron Paul, star of Breaking Bad has married his fiance Lauren Parsekian, this past Sunday in at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California, USA Today reported.
Paul had proposed to Parsekian last year in Paris. One of his groomsmen was reportedly his co-star on AMC’s Breaking Bad, Bryan Cranston, as stated by US Magazine.
The Los Angeles Times reported the couple’s wedding had a 1920s carnival-inspired theme, complete with a small ferris wheel, swing ride and photo booth, as well as a performance by musician, John Mayer.
Paul’s wife, Lauren, is a founder of the Kind Campaign, an attempt to stop female bullying across America. She started the program with Molly Thompson, who she met while attending Pepperdine University. The pair have gone on a national tour, stopping at schools in attempt to promote awareness for their campaign.
Parsekian recounts her personal experience with female bullying on the official campaign website, kindcampaign.com, saying, “For me, the hardest time was middle school, when a group of my girl friends turned on me. I can still vividly recall every torturous experience they put me through throughout 7th and 8th grade. I think the most important part of my story is how those experiences affected me as a young girl… I have confidence that through Kind Campaign, we will all come together to create a community and an awareness that will change this problem.”
Paul and Cranston will return to AMC this August for Breaking Bad’s final season. Paul has won two Primetime Emmys for outstanding supporting actor on the series.
