‘Breaking Bad’: 15-Year Anniversary & Cast Reunion

This week marks Breaking Bad‘s 15-year anniversary of its airing. The quintessential 62-episode series had five seasons and earned 16 Emmy awards, a sequel movie, El Camino, and spinoff series, Better Call Saul, according to ComicBookBetter Call Saul saw its sixth and final season just last year.

Breaking Bad is the only one built on the uncomfortable premise that there’s an irrefutable difference between what’s right and what’s wrong, and it’s the only one where the characters have real control over how they choose to live,” said Chuck Klosterman at the now-defunct Grantland, according to For The Win.

The reunion kicked off with Bryan Cranston (Malcolm in the Middle, Argo) announcing his and Aaron Paul’s (Need for Speed, The Last House on the Left) comeback as Walter ‘Heisenberg’ White and Jesse Pinkman for a Super Bowl commercial via Twitter, and another tweet posted from PopCorners’s Twitter account.

Breaking Bad‘s Twitter account posted a tweet followed by a video of Giancarlo Esposito (Do the Right Thing, The Usual Suspects).

The surprise is not over. A special anniversary tweet by Breaking Bad’s Twitter account thanked creator Vince Gilligan (The X-Files, Battle Creek) for the popular show.
