Following an impressive start, TLC is adding two additional episodes to its unscripted entry Breaking Amish: L.A., The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
The additional episodes include a reunion special and an additional episode to the series, bringing it to an eleven-part series. During the season, the show has been averaging 1.8 million total viewers.
The show focuses on following seven young Amish and Mennonite men and women living together in Los Angeles as they contemplate whether to embrace this new world or return to the communities that they life behind.
The two additional episodes will air back-to-back on Sunday September 29 at 9 p.m. Both will be one-hour in length, with the reunion special titled Breaking Amish: L.A. – The Shunning Truth following the season finale. The reunion will discuss conflicts, rumors, and relationship questions as well as attempt to clarify any unresolved issues.
