The Hollywood Reporter says the Chuck alumna is moving to Lifetime’s newest show.
A few weeks ago, Lifetime started the casting for Unreal, adding popular names like Shiri Appleby (the leading lady), Francia Raisa, Megyn Price and Josh Kelley, among others.
Bonita Friedericy is the most recent addition, set to play a psychologist named Dr. Wagenstein.
The show revolves around a dating competition and its showrunner (Appleby), who has to manipulate the contestants and their emotions in order to make the contest even juicier. Bonita Friedericy’s character will be the mandated psychologist of the contestants.
The fifty-two-year old actress is most known for her work on Chuck, although she has starred on other shows, like Hart of Dixie, Castle and, more recently, Welcome To The Family.
