Fans of Better Call Saul will be happy to learn that the show’s star, Bob Odenkirk (Breaking Bad), has returned to filming following his heart attack in July, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The actor collapsed on the Better Call Saul set on July 27 and was later taken to an Albuquerque hospital after suffering a “heart-related incident,” reported by AMC.
The prequel to AMC’s Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul follows Walter White’s, played by Bryan Cranston (Malcolm in the Middle), attorney, currently Saul Goodman but formerly Jimmy McGill. Six years prior to the events in Breaking Bad, Jimmy works towards making a name for himself. Odenkirk is currently filming the show’s sixth and final season, and shared his return to production on his Twitter page.
The show’s last season is likely to air in 2022.
