

The halls of Godolkin University have officially closed their doors, with the recent information by Prime Video. Reported by Screenrant, the streaming platform have just confirmed on the cancellation of its popular spin-off series, Gen V, with just having been around for two seasons. The plot follows a group of young superhero in training attending the renowned college, but also discovering the deep secrets that lie underneath it.
According to Screenrant, Jaz Sinclair (Slender Man, Paper Town), who had played Maria Monro goes on to deliver a heartfelt post about the her journey on the show,”There’s so much I wanna (and will) say, but for today I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’m so happy you’re here and I’m so grateful for this incredible experience.’ The last time on the show is Jaz and the other students have taken down Thomas Godolkin, played by Ethan Slater (Wicked, Evol) and join Starlight, played by Erin Moriarty (Jessica Jones, True Detective) and the rest of the resistance against Homelander, played by, Anthony Starr (Cobweb, Banshee)
Additionally, the series co-creator, Erick Kripke (Timeless, Supernatural) and Evan Goldberg (Superbad, Preacher0 give their own opinions ,”While we wish we could keep the party going another season at Godolkin, we’re committed to continuing the Gen V characters’ stories in The Boys Season 5 and other VCU projects on the horizon.” Stated by Screenrant, while the story has reach its conclusion, the group’s stories will continue into the final season of The Boys, in which everything is at stake.
With the combination of Sinclair’s and the creator’s words, how the Godolklin gang will make their appearance in the final season remains a mystery, but will surely have the audience waiting in anticipation. Both season of Gen V are available to stream, in order for the audience to refresh on the chaotic events that will lead the teens on a new path.
