‘Bless The Harts’ Cast Unites for Virtual Table Read

The cast of the animated series Bless The Harts is coming together for a virtual table read to benefit Feeding America, according to Deadline. The cast also will be joined by co-creators and executive producers Emily Spivey (Wine Country), Phil Lord (21 Jump Street) and Chris Miller (Cloudy with A Chance of Meatballs). Ken Jeong (The Hangover), David Herman (Brickleberry) and Jeremy Rowley (iCarly) will also guest star during this table read.

Bless The Harts follows the Hart family, a broke Southern family working hard to make ends meet, hoping to someday achieve the American dream. The cast is voiced by many well-known comedians, such as Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaids, Ghostbusters) as Jenny Hart, Maya Rudolph (Life of the Party, Grown Ups) as Betty Hart, Jillian Bell (Rough Night22 Jump Street) as Violet Hart, Ike Barinholtz (Blockers, The Oath) as Wayne Edwards, and Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick, The Lovebirds) as Jesus.

The Fox show has averaged 3.3 million viewers across platforms and a 1.0 rating in Live+7 following its September 29, 2019 premiere according to DeadlineIt got picked up for a 2nd season which is set to premiere sometime within the 2020-21 season. However, it is uncertain whether the on-going COVID-19 pandemic will affect the second season’s production process.

The live virtual event takes place on the Fox Youtube Animation Domination channel at 3 PM PST on Monday, June 1.
