Bill Hader is joining Fox’s immensely popular, award winning comedy, Brooklyn Nine Nine. Hader will rejoin fellow SNL alum, Andy Samberg for the upcoming third season. As per Entertainment weekly , Hader will be replacing Andre Braugher as the precincts new Captain. Braugher is not completely leaving the show however, as he is expected to stay on for the duration of the season.
The show has captured a number of awards, including two Golden Globes in 2014 for Best Television Series- Comedy or Musical and Best Actor- Comedy or Musical. (Andy Samberg) Hader and Samberg were cast members of NBC’s long running sketch comedy show, Saturday Night Live. Hader joins an already hilarious cast on Brooklyn Nine Nine which includes, Joe LoTruglio, Chelsea Peretti, Terry Crews, Stephanie Beatriz, Melissa Fumero and of course, star, Andy Samberg. The third season premieres September 27th on Fox.

According to Wikipedia, Hader is currently filming for Steven Spielberg’s Roald Dahl adaptation of The BFG. The film is due out July 2016.
