

According to a Deadline article actor from the CBS sitcom the ‘Big Bang Theory’ John Ross Bowie (Bad Therapy, Between Us) who played Barry Kripke on the series has decided to join the shows spinoff series. He along with alum Kevin Sussman (2nd Serve, Freeloaders) who played Stuart Bloom, Brian Posehn (Uncle Nick, Hell and Back) who played Bert Kibbler, and Lauren Lapkus (The Out- Laws, Happiest Season) who played Denise. The show ‘The Big Bang Theory’ was a popular CBS sitcom that aired from 2007 to 2019 and follows the lives of two roommates, Leonard and Sheldon who work as physicists at the California Institute of Technology. They have brains when it comes to math but not when it comes to social settings.
Per Deadline the show is still in the works and has not been approved officially. The actors have signed a talent holding deal with WBTV talent with the intent to eventually start on the series. Deadline also says the show is created by Chuck Lorre (Nathans Choice) and he has decided to have feature writer Zak Penn (Free Guy, Ready Player One) to be apart of the project as well as Bill Brady who was the co-writer for ‘The Big Bang Theory’says Deadline. They all collectively co- wrote the script according to Deadline.
Deadline also says that Bowie’s character was loved by fans and audiences and they soon made him so that he could be written into the show. Bowies character is known for having a speech impediment which makes his pronunciation of “r” and “l” sound like he saying “w” according to Deadline. Besides ‘The Big Bang Theory’ Bowie has been in numerous other shows as a feature character. One of them being in Lorres comedy series on CBS called ‘States of Al’, and an ABC comedy ‘Speechless’ per Deadline. Bowie recently took to social media to announce the news.
