Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth of Beverly Hills, 90210 fame will be co-stars once again on ABC Family’s new series Mystery Girls.
The pair first shot to fame on one of the hottest television series of the ’90s, Tori’s father Aaron Spelling’s hit 90210. Now the duo will play familiar roles in Mystery Girls to the ones they do in real life.
According to The Wrap the pilot, which will begin filming in November finds Garth and Spelling caught up in a criminal investigation when a witness to a crime demands they will only speak to the formerly famous actresses of Mystery Girls, a popular television series in the ’90s.
Spelling and writer Shepard Boucher (Men At Work) developed the story and Garth will join Spelling as a producer, along with Maggie Malina (Single Ladies).
