In April, John Stamos confirmed the rumors surrounding the idea of a Full House reboot on Jimmy Kimmel. The Netflix reboot will be called Fuller House. It seems to be that the reboot shooting is underway. John Stamos and other returning cast members have been posting behind the scenes photos of the cast on set and in production.

Netflix released a statement about the upcoming reboot, “The continued support of Full House fans of all ages for the last 28 years has been astounding… It is an honor and a thrill to catch up with these beloved characters and explore their lives today. The love you saw on the show was real. The cast has remained a loving family off screen all these years. We are as excited as our fans to finally bring Full House back to life” (ABC News).
Full House aired on ABC from 1987 – 1995. The series will return as a thirteen episode first season. Cast returners include Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, Candice Cameron Bure, Andrea Barber, Jodie Sweetin, John Stamos and Lori Loughlin. Fuller House will follow the widow and mother of three D.J Tanner-Fuller. D.J Tanner-Fuller in the series will ask for help from friends and family to help with her children. However, we might not see the Olsen twins return. According to Netflix’s Ted Sarandos, the Olsen twins have been teetering back and forth with a possible appearance on the reboot. John Stamos will executive produce alongside the original executive producers.
Fuller House is in production and the cast have been teasing fans with photos of the reboot.
For now, fans will just have to settle for a some behind the scenes looks. Fuller House will debut on Netflix in 2016.
