The Doctor has been revealed for the next installment of Doctor Who

According to Deadline, the next Doctor is Peter Capaldi. In the teaser trailer released previously many guessed Capaldi would be the next Doctor. The series is set to premiere on August 23 at 8 p.m. on BBC America.

The season will start with a feature length episode titled “Depp Breath.” It centers on the Twelfth Doctor making his first full episode appearance. Returning to the show are Jenna Coleman as Clara Oswald. New addition is Samuel Anderson as Danny Pink, a Coal Hill School teacher. Guest stars include Ben Miller, Keeley Hawes and Tom Riley.
