Looks like Chris Harrison will have even more time to work on his tan, because Bachelor in Paradise has been renewed for a fourth season by ABC. The announcement was made Monday during Bachelor in Paradise: After Paradise, the series’ after show. Variety had the story.
Bachelor in Paradise is a spinoff of ABC’s popular Bachelor series of shows, which also includes The Bachelorette. Paradise features former contestants from both The Bachelorette and The Bachelor mingling together in a beautiful tropical house in Mexico. Love, hilarity, heartbreak, and drama ensue.
Bachelor in Paradise recently wrapped up it’s third season, which ended with three(!) couples getting engaged. The season was also the most-watched since the show premiered, with an average of 6.2 million people tuning in, up a whopping 9% from last season’s 5.7 million viewers. It’s therefore no surprise that ABC has decided to renew the show.
Bachelor in Paradise will return sometime next summer.
