For those who have watched it, there’s a theme of casual spoken and unspoken revelations in Master of None. In the same style of Dev Shah’s (spoiler alert for season one of Master of None) nonchalant boarding of a plane to Italy, Aziz Ansari has nonchalantly released the teaser trailer and premiere date for season two.
The first season of Master of None followed Dev Shah (played by Aziz Ansari) as he encountered topics like racism, sexism, and even morality and empathy in his everyday life as a commercial actor. Season one left off with Dev breaking up with his girlfriend Rachel (Noel Wells) and pursuing his own bliss: going to Italy and experiencing all that the country has to offer (especially anything food-related).
The single-camera series was created by Aziz Ansari and Alan Yang, who also serve as executive producers and writers. Michael Schur, Dave Becky, and David Miner also executive produce Masters of None
Aziz Ansari took to Twitter to announce the news, Tweeting:

A short clip for the teaser trailer was packaged within the Tweet, and showed Dev and his affable best friend Arnold Baumheiser (Eric Wareheim) having a casual ride down what appears to be an Italian countryside. No more news was released, but we do finally have a date for season two.
Mark your calendars, everybody! Season two premieres on May 12th on Netflix.
