AXS TV will bring back The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands for a fourth season in the fall.
TV’s Katie Daryl hosts and produced the live concert series. It features highly talented bands performing hour-long tributes to iconic musical acts. The third season wrapped up on April 21.
There will be a special 90-minute live concert featuring the Beatles tribute band “Britain’s Finest’ that will air on Wednesday, April 30. Britain’s Finest was the first band to perform on The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands stage and are sure to bring the essence of John, Paul, George and Ringo during their performance at downtown Los Angeles’ Club Nokia.
So far, the series has featured 37 well-known tribute bands. Some of those honored include rock classics Queen and Led Zeppelin to modern legends Nirvana and No Doubt. The performances are broadcast live from Hollywood’s Whisky A Go-Go.
“These past three seasons of The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands have been a musical thrill ride,” said Daryl. “With the help and support of AXS TV and our amazing sponsors, we have been able to bring this iconic music, week in and week out, to TV. We’re excited to continue this success into season four and feature more great bands for our fans to rock out!”
The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands airs Mondays at 11 p.m. ET, 8 p.m. PT.
