According to TV Series Finale, AT&T Audience Network is releasing a new crime series. The show is titled ICE and will premiere November of this year. The creators of the series are Antoine Fuqua and Robert Munic. Their drama will follow the Green family as they immerse themselves into the underbelly of the Los Angeles diamond trade. The cast of ICE includes Cam Gigandet (The Magnificent Seven, The Twilight Saga franchise), Jeremy Sisto (Law and Order, Suburgatory), Ray Winstone (The Departed), Audrey Marie Anderson (Arrow, The Unit), Judith Shekoni (Heroes Reborn, The Twilight Saga franchise), Ella Thomas (Mistresses), Chloe East (Liv and Maddie), Raymond J. Barry (Training Day), and Donald Sutherland (The Hunger Games franchise).
The original series comes from global independent studio Entertainment One (eOne) and Antoine Fuqua’s Fuqua Films. ICE will have 10 hour-long episodes and as of now the show is in production in Los Angeles and Vancouver. The series will air exclusively on both DIRECT TV and AT&T U-verse.
ICE is an intense, serialized crime drama that follows Jake (Gigandet) and Freddy (Sisto), half-brothers who are brought together by their father Isaac (Barry), the patriarch behind G&G Diamonds, and their uncle Cam (Winstone). After loose cannon Freddy murders a prominent diamond dealer, his brother has to bail him out and save the family business from a dangerous crime lord in the Los Angeles Diamond trade (Shekoni). In addition to this drama, Jake has to deal with multiple jewelry thugs, blood diamond deals, false certificates, the Feds, and Pieter Van De Bruin (Sutherland), a vicious Afrikaner diamond merchant who runs a diamond cartel.
Fuqua (The Magnificent Seven, The Equalizer, Training Day) will direct the first episode of ICE and he will also serve as executive producer. The original series is written and executive produced by Munic (Fighting, The Cleaner). Watch ICE on November 16th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
