Hulu recently announced that actress Ashley Park (Emily in Paris, Girls5eva) will be joining the hit series Only Murders In The Building for its third season, according to Deadline. Park will be playing the recurring role of Kimber who is described as a Broadway ingenue.

Park is a Tony award-nominee known for her role as Gretchen Wieners in the Broadway production of Mean Girls by Tina Fey (Mr. Mayor, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt). Park is most commonly known in television for her role as Mindy in Netflix’s Emily in Paris where she stars opposite Lily Collins (The Mortal Instruments, Tolkien). Her work on the show has led her to be the first Asian American to be nominated for “Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series” at the Critics’ Choice Awards. 

According to Deadline, Park will be seen next in Adele Lim’s (Raya and the Last Dragon, Crazy Rich Asians) Joy Ride where she stars alongside Sherry Cola (Shortcomings, Good Trouble), Stephanie Hsu (Everything Everywhere All at Once, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), and newcomer Sabrina Wu. The story follows the four Asian American women as they travel through Asia searching for one of their birth mothers and how the experiences on the journey affect them. Lim’s film will premiere on June 23. 

Ashley Park is just the latest actress to join the cast of the third season of Only Murders In The Building. World-renowned actors like Meryl Streep (Mamma Mia!, The Devil Wears Prada) and Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy, Your Place or Mine) have also joined the cast for season three in unknown roles. Paul Rudd (Ant-Man, Clueless) is returning to season three reprising his role as Ben Glenroy. The show stars Steve Martin (Cheaper by the Dozen, Father of the Bride) as Charles-Haden Savage, Martin Short (The Santa Clause 3, Schmigadoon!) as Oliver Putnam, and Selena Gomez (Wizards of Waverly Place, Hotel Transylvania) as Mabel Mora. 

The show is produced by 20th Television, has been nominated for seventeen Emmy Awards, and won three in the last award season. The series was created by Martin and John Hoffman (Grace and Frankie, Looking) who also serve as writers for the show. Only Murders In The Building is executive produced by Martin, Hoffman, Short, Gomez, Dan Fogelman (This Is Us, Grandfathered), and Jess Rosenthal (This Is Us, Pitch). 

The third season of Only Murders In The Building is still in pre-production and no release date has been announced. All previous seasons of the show are available on Hulu.
