Arnold Schwarzenegger’s (The Terminator) first TV show as star of the series is officially a go at Netflix, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The untitled show will feature Schwarzenegger and Monica Barbaro (The Good Cop) as father and daughter who both work for the CIA, without the other knowing. When they’re forced to team up for a mission, the duo discovers the secrets and lies built on their relationship.
The series hails from creator Nick Santora (Reacher). “Fans from all over the world have been asking me for a wild ride like this for years, and now they’re finally going to get it because of our great partners at Skydance and Netflix,” Schwarzenegger said. “I am beyond pumped to start work on the show with Nick and Monica and the whole team,” via The Hollywood Reporter. Eight episodes of the untitled show have been ordered by the network.
Santora will serve as showrunner and executive producer alongside Scwarzengger, David Ellison (Luck), Dana Goldberg (I am Legend), and Bill Bost (World War Z).
