

After 40 years, the classical anime series, Ronin Warriors is coming back with a sequel series, which is named Yoroi Shin Den Samurai Troopers. According to Comicbook, the series follows five teenage warriors that wield mystical armors to protect the earth from the demon emperor, Talpa and his Dark Warlords. The official teaser has sent shockwaves through the fandom, offering a first glimpse at the new generation of heroes who will inherit the legendary armors.
According to Comicbook, the Ronin Warriors sequel will take place in modern time and the official synopsis behind reveals,”When the seal on the demon world that once terrorized the human world is broken, countless demon soldiers begin their invasion. Five young samurai rush to the rescue of humanity. Their name is Samurai Troopers! A new chapter in their fighting days begins!”
According to Comicbook, the first official cast member revealed for the sequel is Hiiro Ishibashi (Yugioh Sevens, Children of the Sea), playing the lead character, Gai, whose done the wildfire armor. While the other four new Ronin Warriors are only shown in silhouette, their roles are tantalizingly hinted at. The visuals promise a fresh take on the classic armor designs and a new battle against the new demon emperor.
According to Comicbook, the studio behind the production of the upcoming sequel will be Sunrise and Bandai, which are best known series include Cowboy Bebob and Gundam. The series is helmed by a talented creative team, including director Yoichi Fujita (Osomatsu-san, Gintama), character designer Yuhei Murota (Fairy Tail, Accel World) and original armor designer, Hideo Okamoto (Godzilla 2000, SSSS.Dynazenon).
Viewers can expect high action battles and wonderful blend of sci-fi and fantasy the franchise is well known for. While awaiting further news on the exact release date for the upcoming Samurai Trooper series, the original series is available to stream on Tubi and Pluto.
