After its debut in September of 2021 – releasing episodes every other week – Apple TV+’s The Problem With Jon Stewart will now be released weekly, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The show is slated to return on March 3 to its new release format.
The streamer released the first batch of episodes every other week – accumulating just four episodes in its first season. However, this move does not mean The Problem will receive a longer run in its upcoming season. Apple TV+ says that the series will discuss the stock market, climate change, and how to achieve racial equality in the mainstream media vs. sensationalism in its next episodes.
The Problem With Jon Stewart features interviews, field pieces, and comedy to educate the audience on world issues in order to drive change. Stewart executive produces the series alongside Brunda Adhikari (CBS Evening With Jeff Glor), James Dixon (That Damn Michael Che), and Richard Plepler (Provenance).
