Apple TV+ published a press release yesterday announcing that their popular sci-fi drama show, Silo, will have a special event at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, July 27. Moderated by Editor-in-Chief of Edited.com Adam Savage (MythBusters, The Matrix Reloaded), there will be a panel conversation where the cast and crew discuss Silo and give fans a preview of what to expect in the upcoming second season. The panel will take place in Ballroom 20 from 4:00 pm to 4:45 pm.
As Apple TV+ reports, Silo is based on a New York Times best-selling book trilogy by Hugh Howey (The Bern Saga, Wayfinding), who also serves as executive producer on the television series. Howey will attend the panel alongside executive producer and star Rebecca Ferguson (Dune: Part One, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One); Common (Never Have I Ever, The Hate U Give), who plays Robert Sims on Silo; showrunner Graham Yost (Justified, From the Earth to the Moon) and special surprise guests.
Internationally renowned Silo is produced for Apple TV+ by Apple Studios (Severance, Slow Horses). Alongside Ferguson and Yost, the show is executive produced by Michael Dinner (Manhunt, Sneaky Pete), Nina Jack (Better Call Saul, Mad Men), Joanna Thapa (Supernova, Gwen), Academy Award nominee Morten Tyldum (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, The Imitation Game), Fred Golan (Boomtown, Justified), Rémi Aubuchon (Falling Water, Powers) and AMC Studios (Interview With The Vampire, Orphan Black: Echoes).
Among the cast are Emmy nominee Harriet Walter (Sense and Sensibility, Ted Lasso), Chinaza Uche (Dickinson, A Good Person), Avi Nash (The Walking Dead, Silicon Valley), David Oyelowo (Selma, Lawmen: Bass Reeves), Emmy nominee Rashida Jones (Parks and Recreation, Duncanville) and Academy Award winner Tim Robbins (The Shawshank Redemption, Castle Rock). The date for the season two premiere is still under wraps.
The first season of Silo, which premiered globally on May 23, is available for streaming on Apple TV+.
