Apple TV’s ‘Monarch:Legacy Of Monster’ Reveals New Character For Upcoming Second Season

Apple TV+’s Monarch: Legacy of Monsters has revealed its first cast member for the approaching second season. According to Screenrant, the second season of the acclaimed series was confirmed back in April after the success of season one, in which Cate, played by Anna Sawai (Shogun), May, played by Kiersey Clemons (Austin & Ally) and Keiko, played by Mari Yamamoto (Pachinko) escaped Hollow Earth and the sacrifice of Lee played by Kurt Russell (The Hateful Eight). Two years have passed while the group was in Hollow Earth, and Kentaro, played by Ren Watabe (461 Days of Bento), is now working for Apex Cybernetics.

Apex played an important part in the Monsterverse, as the organization is destined to create Mechagodzilla, the final fight at the end of Godzilla vs. Kong. According to Screenrant, the actor announced in the second season will be Amber Midthunder (Roswell, New Mexico), renowned for her performance in Prey and Avatar: The Last Airbender. While details surrounding Midthunder’s character in the approaching season remain scarce, she will be crucial in aiding the group in dealing with the Titans.

According to an mxdwn post, the season will be produced by Chris Black (Lone Stars) with Matt Fraction (Avengers vs. X-Men) and will further expand on the thrilling and supersize content that the Monsterverse is known for. The second season will surely introduce new and old Titans to the ever-growing universe and attract new viewers to the series , who can expect new monsters to arise, as well as famous ones such as Godzilla.
