Within the year, Apple TV+ has garnered huge jump in viewership by 147%. May is predicted to set the highest viewership for the streaming platform yet to date, all previous months leading up to this huge feat. The new series Shrinking has also been a huge contributor to the high viewership levels as the show has become very popular since its release.
The series Silo has recently become Apple TV+’s number-one drama. The sci-fi show has doubled in viewership numbers since its premiere weekend.
Nielsen ratings also note that the hit comedy show Ted Lasso has also had a groundbreaking +180% viewership rise since the show’s third season’s premiere. The show still stands and resides as the streaming service’s number-one show on Apple TV+. The show’s third season was also claimed to be the number one comedy show in the whole world by Parrot Analytics on the basis of consumer demand.
The other show racking in a huge portion of the viewership numbers includes The Last Thing He Told Me. The series stars Jennifer Garner (13 Going on 30, Elektra) and has been positioned at number one for being the top limited series offered on Apple TV+. The series is a product of Apple Studios, Reese Witherspoon’s (Legally Blonde, Big Little Lies) Hello Sunshine, and 20th Television. The viewership numbers continue to climb with The Last Thing He Told Me, with the show’s season finale ending the first season with a bang.
