

Apple TV released an official trailer for the season two of Hijack. The series came out on June 28, 2023, telling a thrilling story involving a British corporate negotiator named Sam Nelson. Nelson was on a plane from Dubai to London that gets hijacked. It is here where Nelson must use his skills to deescalate the situation on the plane, while the authorities scramble on the ground to try and save everyone on the plane.
According to Apple TV Press, when it comes to the second season we will see a Berlin underground train and its commuters underground. However, above ground the authorities are scrambling to try and save the lives that are held hostage. Nelson is also in the center of the conflict where one wrong decision can lead to disaster. The series is produced by 60Forty Films and Idiotlamp Productions. For 60Forty Films the series is produced by Jamie Laurenson (Slow Horses, Down Cemetery Road), Hakan Kousetta (The Essex Serpent, Heartstopper), and Tom Nash (Gwen, Deep State). Along with them is Field Smith (Truth Seekers, Litvinenko) who not only serves as a executive producer, he also is a leading director for the series.
