Apple TV+ Releases Comedy Anthology Series Trailer ‘Roar’

Apple TV+ has unveiled a new trailer for its upcoming comedy anthology series titled Roar, according to IndieWire. The series is based on a short story series by Cecelia Ahern (Flawed), and will premiere April 15.

It stars Nicole Kidman (Big Little Lies), Betty Gilpin (The Hunt), Issa Rae (Insecure), Alison Brie (Community) and Nick Kroll (Big Mouth). The series will detail what it means to be a woman in modern society. A satire, the series will feature a man who places his wife on a pedestal, a woman who dates a duck and a woman who struggles to have her voice heard in a world of men.

The series will also feature Judy Davis (The Dressmaker, Alfred Molina (Spider-Man 2), Jake Johnson (New Girl), Chris Lowell (How I Met Your Father), Ego Nwodim (Saturday Night Live), Griffin Matthews (The Flight Attendant), Peter Facinelli (Countdown) and Jillian Bell (Rough Night).

Roar will premiere April 15 on Apple TV+, and the trailer can be viewed below.
