Anthony Weiner will appear as himself in a cameo appearance on Amazon’s Alpha House.
According to Deadline, the episode also features cameos from Tom Brokaw, former Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steel and CNN analyst Jeffry Toobin.
Garry Trudeau writes Alpha House a political comedy that follows four Republican U.S. senators living on Capitol Hill as roommates. The series is inspired by actual Capitol Hill home, The Omega House, shared by Sen. Kick Dubin, D-Illinois; Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-New Yorkl; and Rep. George Miller, D-California. The show follows the difficulties of Washington politics, including Weiner.
Weiner a New York Democratic had a scandal involving racy images and messages sent to women who were not his wife. He resigned in June of 2011 after this got out. When he once again tried to get back into the political game with the NYC mayoral race yet another women alleged Weiner had been “sexting” since his departure from Congress.
Other celebrities with tarnished reputations that have made cameos include Paula Deen with a tape cameo on Fox’s MasterChef.
The episode is set to air during Friday’s season finale of Alpha House.
