Anna Friel will star in the Psychopath Next Door, says the Hollywood Reporter.
The UK drama will be written by BAFTA winner Julie Rutterford and is scheduled for a fall release on BSkyB’s Sky Living channel.
The Hollywood Reporter continues to explain the details of the show. The hour-long drama will be made by ITV Studios, the U.K. commercial broadcaster’s production arm, for BSkyB’s Sky Living channel. Kieron J. Walsh will direct the show with producer Myar Craig-Brown and executive producer Kate Bartlett.
“This is our first commission for Sky Living and we’re thrilled that Anna Friel will be starring in the lead role as Eve, a glamorous psychopath whose magnetic personality hides her true nature,” says Bartlett.
Friel will be starring as a female psychopath who movies into an ordinary suburban home surrounded by families.
The Psychopath Next Door was commissioned by Sky’s head of drama, Anne Mensah.
