The actor most known for her portrayal of Alice on The Brady Bunch, Ann B. Davis, has passed away at the age of 88.
According to Deadline, Davis passed away Sunday June, 1 2014 from a subdural hematoma which was caused by a fall. She rose to fame in 1955 for her portrayal of Charmaine ‘Schultzy’ Schultz on The Bob Cummings Show. She was also seen in The John Forsythe Show and films Lover Come Back and All Hands On Deck. During her acting career, she received four Emmy nominations and two wins. She also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame within five years. It was not until her became the nanny and housekeeper, Alice Nelson, on The Brady Bunch that she cemented her celebrity. She portrayed Alice from 1969 till 1974 including a reprisal of the role in The Brady Bunch Variety Hour, spin-offs The Brady Brides and The Bradys, and films The Brady Girls Get Married and A Very Brady Christmas.
