It has been nearly three years since the premiere of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. With the series wrapping up with season four, perhaps there is hope that Daryl Dixon will return to the main Walking Dead universe.
For those who don’t know, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon tells a story about Daryl Dixon who got himself stranded in Europe. Over time, Daryl would make new friends in France and reunite with his long time friend, Carol, before eventually deciding to head back to America. According to ScreenRant, Dan McDermott (Jupiter’s Legacy, The F**k-It List) the president of AMC Studios, was asked in an interview with The Ankler about what the future holds for Norman Reedus (Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Ballerina).
McDermott stated, “We adore Norman and the Daryl Dixon character — he’s clearly a fan favorite and people show up for him wherever he is. We are in active discussions with him right now about what we should and can do for the next iteration of a story in the Walking Dead Universe for Daryl Dixon.”
The cast consists of Reedus (Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Ballerina), Melissa McBride (The Walking Dead, Fear The Walking Dead), Romain Levi (The Orphans, Dracula), Eduardo Noriega (The Hanged Woman, Hidden Murder), Óscar Jaenada (Point Nemo, Fate), Alexandra Masangkay (The End of It, Aquí), Hugo Arbues (Past Lies, Through My Window: Looking at You), Candela Saitta (Maxima, Último Primer Día), Yassmine Othman (Dara, Smalltown Funk Girls), Aemando Buika (La familia Benetón +2, The Platform 2), Irina Björklund (What Remains, Le Café de mes Souvenirs), Pedro Bachura (Atasco, Fate), and Gonzalo Bouza (Alpha Males, La que se avecina).
It is speculated that the final season will premiere this year. In the meantime, you can watch the first three seasons of the show on AMC+ in order to get caught up for the main event.
