UMC, the streaming service from the AMC Networks, casts their new series Millennials, via Deadline. Millennials will be a multi-camera comedy.
The series is about a bunch of twentysomething friends living in L.A. while trying to navigate the world and find success.
The cast includes Kyle Massey (Cory In The House) as Omar, a business student who wants to rule the corporate world. Keraun Harris (Insecure) plays a personal trainer named Jaheem who enjoys flirting with his clientele. Philip Bolden’s (Are We There Yet?) character is a timid YouTuber named Travis who is always craving attention. Aaron Grady’s (Everybody Hates Chris) role is a college dropout named Todd who struggles with adapting to an adult life. Teresa Celeste (Family Time) plays Mercedes, an aspiring actress and the voice of reason for the group.
Other cast members include social media influencer Katherine Florence, Buddy Lewis (Famous In Love), and Tanjareen Thomas (Black Dynamite).
The series is created by Rugg Williams (In The Heat of the Night) and Oren Williams (Rebound). Bentley Kyle Evans (Love That Girl!) will serve as director. Production is set to start in the upcoming weeks and the series will premiere in early 2021.
