AMC Network Release The First Look At The Anticipated Fourth Season Of ‘Dark Winds’

According to a press release from AMC Networks, the highly anticipated hit drama series Dark Winds will return to AMC and AMC+. The series will air on the network and streaming platform on Sunday, February 15. All-New Season Features the Television Directorial Debut of Star and Executive Producer Zahn McClarnon (Doctor Sleep, Reservation Dogs). The series is executive-produced by Robert Redford (The Way We Were, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid) and George R.R. Martin (A Game of Thrones, The Winds of Winter) and holds a 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes for all three current seasons.

As per the press release, AMC and AMC+ debuted a new teaser trailer and first look images for the fourth season of the series. The season will include eight hour-long episodes when it premieres on the network.

According to a press release, the series follows tribal police officers Lt. Joe Leaphorn and Deputy Jim Chee as they investigate complex, seemingly unrelated crimes, which forces them to confront earthly evils, supernatural beliefs, and their own traumatic pasts. The fourth season log line is as follows: “The series’ gripping fourth season focuses on the search for a missing Navajo girl, which takes Leaphorn, Chee and Manuelito from the safety of Navajo Nation to the gritty terrain of 1970s Los Angeles in a race against the clock to save her from an obsessive killer with ties to organized crime.”

As per the press release, the series stars McClarnon as Lt. Joe Leaphorn alongside Kiowa Gordon (The Red Road, Roswell, New Mexico) as Jim Chee, Jessica Matten (Rez Ball, Tribal, Burden of Truth) as Bernadette Manuelito, Deanna Allison (Accused, Edge of America) as Emma Leaphorn, Franka Potente (Run Lola Run, The Bourne Supremacy) as Irene Vaggan and Isabel DeRoy-Olson (Fancy Dance, It: Welcome to Derry) as Billie Tsosi.

All episodes of Dark Winds are available to stream on AMC+ and Netflix.
