According to Deadline, AMC has just added five more cast members for the upcoming The Walking Dead spinoff series entitled, Daryl Dixon. Anne Charrier (The Last Deadly Mission, How to Be a French Lover), Eriq Ebouaney (Fox Hunt, A Season in France), Laika Blanc Francard (Reign Supreme, My Night), Romain Levi (The Tunnel, Sacracide), and newcomer Louis Peuch Scigliuzzi are all set to star as series regulars opposite Norman Reedus (the Boondock Saints duology, Death Stranding), who plays the titular character of Daryl Dixon.
Clémence Poésy (the Harry Potter franchise, Resistance) and Adam Nagaitis (The Terror, To Walk Invisible) are also slated to appear as main characters in the series. Filming for Daryl Dixon is currently underway in France with a debut date set for later this year exclusively on AMC and AMC+. As written by Deadline, Daryl Dixon is set sometime after the series conclusion of The Walking Dead and follows the fan-favorite character as he is transported from his home country of America to a zombie-infested and war-torn France. After washing ashore on a French beach with no recollection of how he got there and why, Daryl must piece together what happened to him as he traverses through this dangerous new world to return home to his friends and loved ones back in America.
Charrier will play Genet; Ebouaney will portray Fallou; Francard portrays Sylvie; Levi plays Codron while Scigliuzzi plays Laurent. The series is executive produced by Reedus himself alongside TWD veterans Scott M. Gimple (Fear the Walking Dead, Fillmore!), Angela Kang (Terriers), Greg Nicotero (the Evil Dead franchise, Creepshow), Brian Bockrath (Fear the Walking Dead, The Walking Dead: World Beyond), and Daniel Percival (The Man in the High Castle, Leonardo).
