With only two weeks away from the season two premiere of Fallout, Samsung has collaborated with Amazon, Bethesda, and Xbox to allow the fans of the beloved series to stream the first season for free. According to Variety, leading up to the release of the second season, Samsung TV Plus will offer the first season subscription free from December 3 through December 25.
The Fallout series is based off of the popular video game series under the same name. The game places the character in a post apocalyptic world where a nuclear bomb has been dropped and everything has been mutated and you have been tasked with surviving in this new world. The television series follows three characters, and how their storylines become interconnected by the end of the season. The actors in the series consist of Ella Purnell (Arcane, Yellowjackets) who plays Lucy MacLean, Aaron Moten (Emancipation, Father Stu) who plays Maximus, and Walton Goggins (Invincible, The Righteous Gemstones) who plays the Ghoul. Variety took this statement from Emily Aldis, the Prime Video global head of distribution and partnership, who commented on the partnership, “Prime Video is committed to finding creative and groundbreaking approaches to bring our content to audiences worldwide.”
However, the good news does not stop there. Variety mentions that the video game Fallout 76: Burning Springs will be playable on Xbox Game Pass via the Xbox app on Samsung Gaming Hub. Players can also gain access to the video game via Twitch. By doing so they can unlock an exclusive custom chat badge for fans who subscribe or gift a sub any streamer in Fallout 76 between December 2 and December 31.
When it comes to the partnership between Samsung and Prime Video, Aldis had this to say, “Prime Video’s established partnership with Samsung enables us to enhance the viewing experience for our shared customers through engaging off-screen marketing collaborations and seamless integration of the Prime Video app on Samsung Smart TVs.”
The second season will be available for streaming on Prime Video on December 17, 2025.
