

According to Screenrant, DC’s critically acclaimed Elseworlds animated series, My Adventures With Superman, which garner a perfect 100% Rotten Tomato score has been green-lit for a third season which is in production. The plot of the series follows a young Clark Kent aka Superman, voiced by Jack Quaid (The Boys, The Hunger Games), who tries to balance his life at the Daily Planet and as a superhero. Along his journey he meets Lois Lane, voiced by Alice Lee (Wish Upon, Suits LA) and his friend, Jimmy Olsen, voiced by Ishmel Sahid (Jury Duty, Cousins for Life), who help him through his journey.
According to Screenrant, the second season introduced a new redesigned of Clark’s cousin, Supergirl, voiced by Kiana Madeira (Fear Street Part One: 1994, Trinkets), in which she didn’t land on earth but was brainwashed by Brainiac, voiced by Michael Emerson (Evil, Lost) into serving as an enforcer. The seasons ends with Kal and Kara defeating Brainiac’s body, but his CPU remained unscathed signaling his potential returns in future seasons. We then see the group helping the citizens of Metropolis in rebuilding the city, but also enemy forces such as Lex Luthor, voiced by Max Mittelman (Seven Deadly Sins, One Punch Man), who are plotting their next moves.
While details regarding the plot and characters for the upcoming third season remain tightly under wraps, the showrunners have hinted at continuing their exploration of uncharted territories within the DC multiverse. According to Screenrant, the series co-developer, Jake Wyatt (Pantheon, Steven Universe) responded to a fans question on X regarding the future of the animated series, in which Wyatt responds with “in post-production”.

While waiting further news on the upcoming third season, both seasons of My Adventures With Superman are available to stream on HBO Max. According to Screenrant, it is speculated that the third season will comprise of 10 episode just like in the previous ones.
