According to an article from TVLine ‘Family Guy‘ will be making a new comeback on Fox with a brand new episode. The show which is on its 23rd season is known for its adult humor and comical moments. The show is about a dysfunctional family who lives in Rhode Island. The audience follows them as they try to navigate through some funny situations. ‘Family Guy’ is created by Seth MacFarlane (TED, American Dad!) and David Zuckerman (Ladies and Gentleman, The Vigilante), and voiced by actors Macfarlane who plays Peter Griffin and Stewie Griffin, Alex Borstein (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Mad TV) who plays Lois Griffin, Seth Green (Robot Chicken, Without a Paddle) who plays Chris Griffin, and Mila Kunis (That ’70s Show, Friends With Benefits) who plays Meg Griffin.

According to TVLine the episode will be a ‘Top Gun’ parody. The episode will be a “Another particularly gay episode…” per TVLine. In this new episode after Lois and Peter get into an argument, Lois wishes that Peter “could live in a world of only men” per TVLine. According to the article Peter and friends will take a sail, and they will find themselves stranded after they get shipwrecked and land on fire island.

Richard Appel (King of The Hill, The Simpsons) the executive producer of the show says in an interview with TVLine that ” They don’t know what Fire Island is, but they love it”. They also got special guest Cole Escola (Please Baby Please, Wild Nights With Emily) from the Tony Nominated play ‘Oh Mary!’.

According to TVLine the show will not revisit the two part arc of Peter joining Donald Trump. In 2019 Peter joined Trumps administration and will be left as such but fans and audiences can expect to see Peter with Brett Kavanaugh and laugh over their love of beer which sums up their whole relationship per TVLine.

The new episode of ‘Family Guy’ will be available to stream on Sunday February 23, 2025 on Fox.
