The spell-binding Marvel series, Agatha All Along has broken another record and has surpassed another series with MCU. According to Screenrant, it has been one week since the finale of the series, in which Billy Maximoff, played by Joe Locke (Heartstopper), figured out that he had conjured the Witches’ Road into reality, and now he and Agatha, played by Kathryn Hahm (Bad Mom), who is now a ghost, partake in a journey to find his brother Tommy’s reincarnation.
According to Screenrant, the finale after a week had exceeded expectations and pushed past the second season of Loki by a meager one percent in Rotten Tomatoes, but fell short in surpassing the first season, which stayed strong with a solid 92%. The series focused on the titled character, played by Tom Hiddleston (Godzilla:Skull Island), as he now embarks on his journey to save the sacred timeline, finding new allies, fighting new enemies and finding his true purpose.
In the beginning, the series faced a wave of mixed reviews but has slowly become one of the best series within the Marvel franchise. According to Screenrant, the finale had reached an outstanding 83%, which shows that the series has captured the audience with its captivating narrative, compelling characters and unexpected twists. This positive review could mean that a second season could be possible and could introduce new and returning characters into the MCU, such as Jennifer Kale, played by Sasheer Zamata (Saturday Night Live), who had survived the road and regained her powers.
The entirety of Agatha All Along, as well as its predecessor series, Wandavision and Loki, are available to stream on Disney+. As the MCU continues to expand with numerous projects in production, the series has certainly shown that not all installments have to have intense battles and that well-organized, character-driven stories work just the same.
